This work is a robotic installation that utilizes microbial fuel cells, a battery made of mud taken from a polluted river in the southern area of Bandung. the series of batteries generate low voltage electricity that can be measured and if it hit the threshold, it will trigger the ‘destructive’-like mechanism. intentionally, I seek to construct a hyperbolic depiction of the tension between humans and the environment through non-human (the machines and the anaerobic bacteria) interaction in the artificial ecosystem.
